Residential Assistant - Behavioral Health

We are seeking a Residential Assistant to support adults with mental health challenges in a community-based residential home.

Responsibilities include

• assisting with daily living activities, communication, personal care, and meals
• maintaining safety, responding to emergencies, and documenting incidents
• encouraging recovery through person-centered, trauma-informed practices
• supporting social, recreational, vocational, and educational activities
• helping residents participate in community responsibilities and activities
• assisting with household chores such as shopping and cleaning
• completing documentation and communicating resident needs
• collaborating with team members, supervisors, and case managers
  
  

Qualifications include a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred candidates have experience or coursework in behavioral health or human services. Essential skills include

Work involves supporting residents in a shared housing environment, with physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and respond to emergencies. The role emphasizes team collaboration and community engagement.
