Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) focused on perioperative care in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Responsibilities: Provide safe, compassionate, and efficient perioperative care, advocate for patients, adhere to nursing standards, and support positive patient outcomes across all age groups.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, current New York State RN license, preferred BSN, with experience in acute or ambulatory care settings. Certifications such as CCRN, ACLS, PALS, or TNCC are advantageous.
Skills & Environment: Strong clinical skills, ability to work in a team, flexibility to handle interruptions, and comfort with PPE use in a clinical setting. The role involves walking, standing, bending, and lifting in air-conditioned patient care areas.
Key Duties: Support patient health during perioperative phases, maintain infection control protocols, and collaborate with healthcare team members. No supervisory responsibilities.
