- Educate patients about upcoming surgeries and pre-anesthetic evaluations.
- Collaborate with anesthesia teams and ensure completion of pre-surgical testing.
- Assist in integrating research into nursing practices and maintain current knowledge of nursing standards.
- Deliver safe, compassionate patient care using the nursing process and supervise assistive personnel.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to promote optimal outcomes and safety.
- Current IL nursing licensure; BSN preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of peri-anesthesia experience, with strong pre-admission testing background preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
- Proficiency in EPIC application is preferred.
