- Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with nursing practice standards.
- Developing and updating care plans to optimize patient outcomes and ensure smooth transitions across care settings.
- Advocating for patients' rights, dignity, and holistic care through effective care planning and partnership.
- Fostering a learning environment for patients, families, and team members, including students and community members.
- Ensuring safety and quality by integrating evidence-based practices, identifying issues, and promoting a culture of inquiry.
- Engaging in ongoing professional development and practicing to the top of licensure within legal and ethical standards.
- Leading and coordinating interdisciplinary teams, delegating appropriately, and modeling professional behaviors.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Washington RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Minimum of one year nursing experience.
