The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, utilizing technology, evidence-based practices, and team coordination.
Key Duties Include
- Assess: Evaluating patients' physical, social, and psychological status by gathering information from patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Plan: Developing individualized care plans with input from patients, families, and healthcare team, including education and support planning.
- Implement: Directing and coordinating care delivery, delegating tasks appropriately, and managing resources effectively.
- Evaluate: Monitoring patient responses to interventions, assessing outcomes, and revising care plans as needed.
- Professionalism: Upholding legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate documentation, and promoting professional growth.
- Current RN license in the practice state, with valid compact licenses transferable within 60 days.
- Less than 12 months of experience requires a BSN within four years of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Skills in patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation, communication, and critical thinking.
- Ability to see, read, and interpret information; communicate effectively; manipulate equipment; and assist with patient mobility and equipment transport.
- May involve standing, walking, lifting, and driving, with frequent interactions in a busy healthcare environment.
