We are seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in a skilled nursing facility.
Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA provides therapeutic treatments aimed at improving residents' mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and independence.
Key duties include delivering personalized therapy sessions, assisting residents with exercises and mobility activities, documenting treatment progress, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and educating residents and caregivers on safety and mobility techniques.
Qualifications required are a current California PTA license, graduation from an accredited program, and strong communication and documentation skills. SNF experience is preferred but not mandatory.
