Mental Health Counselor

Role: Full-Time Therapist In Training, providing outpatient mental health services under supervision.

Responsibilities Include

• Conducting assessments and developing treatment plans
• Providing individual psychotherapy and psychoeducation
• Maintaining clinical documentation and participating in team meetings
• Collaborating with community partners and engaging in supervision and professional growth
• Utilizing trauma-informed, person-centered, and evidence-based practices
  
  

This position emphasizes individual therapy, with occasional group opportunities.

Work environment & schedule: Hybrid model with onsite and telehealth sessions, flexible scheduling options, and one weekly evening appointment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
• Practicum experience in mental health or community services
• Eligibility for Wisconsin "In Training" license (e.g., APSW, LPC-IT, MFT-IT)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  
  

Preferred skills: Active licensure, experience with justice-involved populations, trauma-informed care knowledge.
