Role Overview: The Medication Aide/Med Tech ensures residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity.
Key Responsibilities: Administer medications per physician orders, follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration, document accurately in MAR/TAR, observe residents during and after medication passes, monitor symptoms, report concerns, complete narcotic counts, maintain clean medication carts, and adhere to infection control and safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills: High School Diploma/GED, Medication Administration certification, CPR and First Aid certifications, strong documentation and communication skills. Senior care experience is preferred.
