Paraprofessional / Teacher Assistant /Nassau County

Health Source Group is seeking reliable and compassionate Paraprofessionals / Teacher Assistants to support students in the Glen Cove School District in Nassau County.

Position Highlights:
Monday–Friday school schedule
Day hours — no nights or weekends
Supportive school environment
Great opportunity for individuals with childcare, education, behavioral, or classroom experience

Responsibilities:

Assist teachers with daily classroom activities
Support students academically, socially, and behaviorally
Provide supervision and maintain a safe classroom environment
Assist with student needs throughout the school day
Collaborate with teachers and school staff

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience working with children preferred (classroom, childcare, behavioral, or educational settings) Current CPR/BLS certification
Physical examination completed within the last 12 months
Current PPD and MMR documentation
Ability and willingness to complete required New York State Department of Education fingerprinting (candidate responsibility)

Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the Glen Cove, NY.
