Support Staff - Walk-In Clinic (55805)

We’re hiring full-time Support Staff to work at our Walk-In Clinic at our 1080 Chinook Ln. facility.

What You’ll Be Doing

Due to the same-day and unscheduled nature of Walk-In Services, patient volume and clinic needs may fluctuate throughout the day. Staff are expected to work collaboratively across assigned functions, respond to changing priorities, and assist where needed to maintain safe and efficient clinic operations, consistent with their training, competency, and scope of practice.

Specifically, the Support Staff member

• Provides exemplary customer service;
• Strong computer/technology skills
• Works hours that cover agency hours (hours may vary by location and programmatic needs);
• Covers front desk reception;
• Operates phones/phone system;
• Scans and uploads records to the electronic health record;
• Verifies client payer eligibility;
• Schedules client appointments as requested;
• Processes Release of Information requests;
• Process medical records
• Performance measures
• Processing report for review
• Balances cash drawer/box;
• Maintains client electronic health records as needed;
• Completes client phone enrollments;
• Completes other departments’ job requests as needed;
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Physical Requirements:

• Requires standing, sitting and walking for prolonged periods of time
• Requires occasional driving
• Occasionally lifts and carries items up to 20 pounds
• Requires working under stress in emergency situations
• Occasional exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids
• Requires frequent use of a computer, phone and other equipment

What We’re Looking For—The Must-Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• One year of receptionist experience, including basic computer and keyboarding skills
• Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
• Demonstrated understanding of appropriate boundaries
• Demonstrated flexibility
• Colorado driver’s license and access to reliable transportation during work hours
