Duties
- Assist physical therapists with patient intake, setup, and preparation for therapy sessions
- Support patient transfer methods using proper manual handling techniques to ensure safety and comfort
- Help implement individualized rehabilitation plans by guiding patients through exercises and activities
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment notes, and session details while ensuring confidentiality
- Prepare treatment areas, sterilize equipment, and manage supplies to uphold hygiene standards
- Educate patients on exercises, care routines, and injury prevention strategies
- Requirements
- Prior experience practicing in a physical therapy or rehabilitation role is highly preferred
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, is preferred but, not required
- Proven ability to deliver excellent patient service with compassionate communication skills
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
