Day-to-day tasks include maintaining payroll records, managing deductions and garnishments, calculating and reconciling payroll taxes, and coordinating with payroll services providers as needed. Qualifications
- Strong skills in Payroll Processing and Payroll Administration to manage accurate and timely payroll cycles.
- Knowledge of Payroll Taxes and experience coordinating with Payroll Services to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Experience handling Garnishments and other payroll-related deductions in accordance with legal and policy requirements.
- Proficiency with payroll software and Excel, including data entry, reporting, and reconciliation.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and HR practices related to compensation and benefits.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
- Effective communication skills to address employee questions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in a healthcare or nonprofit environment is a plus.
