As a key member of our dental team at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), you will work alongside dentists, medical providers, and support staff to improve oral health within our community. What You'll Do
- Provide preventive dental care including cleanings, scaling, and periodontal maintenance
- Take and review dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and overall oral health
- Record and maintain accurate patient documentation in the electronic dental record (EDR)
- Assist dentists with patient care and treatment planning
- Apply fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive procedures
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
- Associate or bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
- Current, unrestricted Kansas Dental Hygienist License
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- At least 1 year of dental hygiene experience preferred (new graduates encouraged to apply)
- Strong knowledge of dental software and electronic records
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
