Qualifications & Skills
- Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing)
- Active RN license in applicable state
- Preferred: 1 year geriatric nursing experience
- CPR certification (obtained upon hire or during orientation)
- Supervise daily nursing and CNA activities, providing leadership on the floor
- Coordinate and manage patient care plans and services
- Accurately chart patient information and medication administration
- Respond to emergency situations with leadership and decisiveness
- Ensure patient rights, safety, and sanitation are maintained
- Foster professional relationships with team members and vendors
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and compliance standards
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and teamwork
- Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude
- Participate in emergency evacuations and safety protocols
- Utilize good judgment, reasoning skills, and dependable attendance
- Perform physical activities such as sitting, standing, lifting, and moving intermittently during work
- Advanced knowledge of practice standards, laws, and regulations
- Ability to make independent decisions when necessary
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Proficient in English reading, writing, speaking, and understanding
