Role: Travel Occupational Therapist providing inpatient and outpatient care in Bethel, Alaska.
Responsibilities: Deliver full-time occupational therapy services across diverse patient populations, including inpatient, outpatient, and long-term care settings. Duties involve treating patients of all ages and diagnoses, conducting home visits, and traveling to villages. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure patient-centered, culturally competent care, and perform periodic self-assessments.
Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors degree in occupational therapy, current NBCOT certification, valid Alaska license or eligibility, BLS certification, strong communication skills, and ability to interpret medical literature. Experience in inpatient settings and working with diverse populations is preferred.
Key Duties: Provide comprehensive occupational therapy, document clinical activities accurately, and work within Alaska’s scope of practice. No private housing provided; shared accommodations only. Initial airfare paid, reimbursed upon arrival, with required immunizations and credential verification before onboarding. Orientation occurs at scheduled days, pending clearance of all requirements.
