- Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of radiologic principles, selecting appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
- Develops and implements procedure and treatment plans following established protocols.
- Completes documentation adhering to hospital policies.
- Maintains equipment and work areas in a clean, safe condition to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold quality standards.
- Achieves assigned goals and contributes to departmental objectives.
- Education: Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and/or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), or a recent graduate awaiting registry, with proof required within 120 days.
- Experience: Recent sonography experience preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: BLS certification within 14 days of hire; registration with ARDMS and RVT required or pending for new graduates.
