- Monitoring quality of care and managing patient assignments each shift
- Serving as liaison to communicate unit needs to leadership
- Mentoring new staff and participating in performance evaluations
- Assessing patient and family needs, developing care plans, and delegating tasks to optimize outcomes
- Ensuring compliance with the Kansas Nurse Practice Act
- Associate’s degree in nursing
- Current Kansas RN license
- BLS certification within 14 days of hire
- ACLS for Tele, ICU, and PCU; oncology certification for post-surgery care
- Certifications completed within first year
- One year of recent healthcare experience
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
