- Administering prescribed medications under supervision, documenting care, and monitoring resident conditions.
- Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility using proper techniques.
- Collecting vital signs, gathering non-invasive specimens, and providing psycho-social support.
- Supporting dining experiences, assisting with meals, and encouraging participation in wellness and recreational activities.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of resident living areas through housekeeping and laundry tasks.
- Communicating resident needs and changes to nursing staff and participating in departmental committees when needed.
- Must currently hold CNA and CMA certifications, with ongoing certification maintenance as per state requirements.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
- Ability to complete competency testing and continuing education annually.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum age of 18 preferred.
- Knowledge of age-appropriate care, medication administration, and proper transfer techniques.
- Part-time evening shifts with every other weekend and holiday requirement.
