We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Technician responsible for performing and interpreting routine and specialized laboratory tests to aid diagnosis and treatment.
- Prepare, analyze, and record test results following standard protocols, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
- Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform phlebotomy procedures as needed and handle specimens with confidentiality and safety compliance.
- Adhere to regulatory standards, accreditation guidelines, and safety protocols, supporting continuous quality improvement.
- Manage supply inventory and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with team members and patients, demonstrating professionalism and cultural sensitivity.
- Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or related biological/chemical sciences.
- Current Clinical Lab Scientist Generalist license or equivalent, with certification (ASCP, AMT, or AAB) obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Proficiency in computer skills, data entry, and communication.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, judgment, and interpersonal skills.
- Performing accurate laboratory testing and quality control independently.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
- Participating in performance improvement and cost management activities.
