Locum Tenens General Surgeon

We are seeking a call-only general surgeon for weekend coverage with response within 30 minutes. The role involves

• seeing 1-3 adult patients during each 24-hour call period
• performing general surgery procedures including
• upper and lower endoscopies
• colonoscopy
• sigmoidoscopy
• conducting laparoscopic surgeries such as
• appendectomy
• cholecystectomy
• possessing vascular surgery experience specifically in
• aneurysm repairs
• performing head/neck, breast, and chest wall procedures
  
  

Qualifications include experience in vascular surgery and proficiency with scopes and laparoscopic techniques. The position offers paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing expenses, and competitive compensation. Providers have 24-hour access to a dedicated consultant.
