HEDIS Medical Records Retriever RN

Role: Medical Records Reviewer and Data Abstractor

Responsibilities: Retrieve, review, and abstract medical record data; enter data into HEDIS systems; collaborate with clinical and non-clinical staff for record retrieval; schedule provider appointments for onsite record extraction; abstract pertinent information from records and input into designated tools; ensure accurate documentation and communication with providers via various delivery methods.

Qualifications & Skills

• Active RN license in the state of VA
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Strong research, analytical, and medical record review experience
• Familiarity with EMR software
• Effective communication skills (written and oral)
  
  

Key Duties: Schedule and conduct medical record extraction, collaborate with providers, ensure accurate data entry, and maintain clear communication throughout the process.
