We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term skilled care facility.
Responsibilities include: assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, and repositioning; recording vital signs; supporting psychosocial needs; aiding with meals and snacks; and ensuring a clean, safe environment through housekeeping and laundry tasks.
The CNA collaborates with nursing staff, documents resident interactions, communicates changes in condition, and supports wellness and recreational programs.
Qualifications: Must have a valid CNA certification or be in the process of obtaining one within four months; high school diploma or GED preferred; minimum age of 16; prior long-term care experience is a plus.
Skills and requirements: knowledge of infection control, proper transfer techniques, and documentation; ability to work evening shifts with rotating weekends and holidays; completion of annual competency testing and continuing education credits; may require valid driver’s license and ability to perform driving duties if applicable.
