Role: Advanced Sonographer responsible for operating ultrasound and imaging equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Acts as a lead and expert resource, providing training and guidance to team members. Ensures patient safety, maintains imaging standards, and communicates effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Qualifications: Graduate of a Sonography program with clinical hours, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and appropriate licensure and certifications (ARDMS/ARRT/CCI). BLS certification is required. In some regions, additional credentials may be needed within a specified timeframe.
- Preferred Skills: Leadership ability, decision-making, conflict resolution, detailed knowledge of protocols and diagnostic imaging, proficiency in advanced or invasive procedures, strong attention to detail, excellent communication, adaptability, and understanding of quality assurance standards.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, and kneeling.
