Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department (ED)
Responsibilities: Provide high-quality patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, develop and document individualized care plans, perform age-specific patient interventions, respond effectively to emergency situations, verify orders and medication accuracy, monitor for adverse reactions, and collaborate with healthcare team members.
Qualifications: Associate’s degree in Nursing, valid Multi-State RN License, BLS CPR certification within 7 days of hire, and ACLS, PALS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications within orientation. Experience in acute, critical, or emergency care is preferred, along with additional certifications like ENPC, TNCC, or CEN.
Skills: Proficiency in patient interventions, medication administration, emergency response, and documentation. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating age-specific competency and adherence to policies.
Key Duties: Initiate and document care plans, perform proficient patient interventions, verify order accuracy, monitor medications and IV therapy, and ensure safety and compliance in emergency and routine care settings.
