Role Overview
Seeking a Neurohospitalist or Stroke Specialist to join an established neuroscience team in a Stroke Certified facility. The position involves double coverage for neurohospitalists, inpatient ICU coverage with critical care specialists, and collaboration with outpatient neurologists, neurointerventionalists, and neurosurgeons.
Key Responsibilities
Seeking a Neurohospitalist or Stroke Specialist to join an established neuroscience team in a Stroke Certified facility. The position involves double coverage for neurohospitalists, inpatient ICU coverage with critical care specialists, and collaboration with outpatient neurologists, neurointerventionalists, and neurosurgeons.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing inpatient neurological care, managing unique and complex cases
- Participating in a 7 days on/7 days off schedule
- Supporting hospital-based neurology services, with teaching opportunities at a Level I trauma center
- Engaging in collaborative patient management and inpatient ICU coverage
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Neurology
- Fellowship in Stroke Medicine is welcomed but not required
- Open to experienced neurologists and new graduates
- Current AZ license/DEA or ability to obtain
