- Assessing call situations and determining appropriate actions based on advanced protocols.
- Utilizing medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids to deliver advanced care.
- Communicating effectively with patients and their loved ones to provide reassurance and information.
- Acting as team leader and managing scene and unit operations when necessary.
- Driving ambulances during emergency responses.
- Collaborating professionally with healthcare and public safety personnel.
Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or GED
- State Paramedic License
- Valid State Driver’s License
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic
- Clean driving record in accordance with policy
- Ability to pass Physical Agility Test
- Relevant healthcare experience preferred
