Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Drivers to join our team as an Ambulette Driver.
The ideal candidates will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and goods to various destinations while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to maintain vehicles, and a commitment to safety. Experience in Ambulette Driver, shuttle driving, van driving, or commercial driving is preferred.
Duties
- Safely operate vehicles including vans, buses, or limousines to transport passengers and cargo.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle by performing regular checks and minor repairs.
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading their belongings, ensuring heavy lifting is managed safely.
- Communicate effectively with passengers regarding routes, schedules, and any changes in plans.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with passengers, their families, healthcare providers, and other staff members.
Requirements
- Valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement are required.
- A clean driving record and no history of traffic violations or accidents.
- Experience in Ambulette Driver, shuttle driving, van driving, or commercial driving preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to lift, bend, and assist passengers with mobility needs (e.g., wheelchair or stretcher).
- Knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations is a plus.
