Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Brooklyn, NY for an Ambulette Driver. The Ambulette Driver will be responsible for safely transporting clients to and from medical appointments and other destinations, ensuring promptness and professionalism. Key day-to-day tasks include operating the ambulette vehicle, assisting clients with mobility needs, maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle, and providing excellent customer service during trips.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge on passenger endorsement skills with a valid CDL Class C license
- Effective Communication and Customer Service skills
- Experience operating a truck or similar vehicle safely and efficiently
- Ability to assist passengers with mobility challenges, ensuring their comfort and safety
- Knowledge of the local geographic area and traffic rules in NYC
- Strong time management and punctuality for schedules
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
