What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pulmonology position at Health eCareers?
Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a BE/BC pulmonologist to join its growing team. The successful candidate will have completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship and have a robust knowledge of complex diagnostic procedures. The selected candidate will collaborate with a team of experienced physicians, dual-certified in pulmonary diseases and sleep medicine to care for patients suffering from a wide variety of respiratory disorders. The team works closely with dedicated respiratory therapists, sleep technicians, and multidisciplinary ancillary services including oncology and thoracic surgery to treat common and complex disorders. This position is primarily dedicated to outpatient and inpatient pulmonology care. ICU patients at Memorial Healthcare System are cared for 24/7 by an on-site intensivist team. If desired, the opportunity to work critical care shifts exists for candidates with critical care training. Candidates with critical care and sleep medicine training are strongly encouraged to apply. This is a full-time employed position with the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group. The position offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
