Our affiliate, Unified Women's Healthcare of North Carolina, is looking for an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician or Hospitalist to join their prestigious women's health care center in Asheville, NC. About The Practice
The practice consists of 6 Physicians, 1 Certified Nurse Midwife, 1 Nurse Practitioner along with a great support staff. The practice has been serving women in the Asheville area for almost 30 years. This practice does all their deliveries and GYN surgical procedures at the Mission Hospital. Mission Hospital has a level 3 NICU Unit, robotics for specialized GYN surgeries, and the Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) residency program. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join a family friendly team that prioritizes top-notch patient care and work/life balance. This practice will also provide excellent mentorship for a physician who is just entering private practice. The physicians are skilled and supportive in training new physicians in minimally invasive surgery options including V-notes, total vaginal hysterectomies, total laparoscopic hysterectomies, as well as urogyn procedures.

- Each physician works a 4 or 4.5 day work-week

- Opportunity to work with residents in the MAHEC program in Mission Hospital.
- Clinic patient volume is typically about 20 per day.
- Family based practice that puts patient care and work/life balance as top priorities.
- 1 call day per week and post-call day is off.
