Hours: This position will be part-time (18-30 hours/week); 2x weekly every other Saturday and Sunday

What You’ll Do (AKA: Your Superpowers)

Deliver Compassionate, Clinical Care:

·         Provide direct nursing care in accordance with resident care plans, physician orders, and community policies.

·         Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.

·         Monitor resident conditions and intervene as needed to ensure health and safety.

Lead & Support the Care Team:

·         Support CNAs and other direct care staff to ensure consistent, quality care.

·         Communicate changes in resident status to physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

·         Participate in care planning, resident assessments, and quality improvement initiatives.

Foster a Safe & Supportive Environment:

·         Uphold infection control, safety, and emergency response protocols at all times.

·         Promote dignity, comfort, and respect in all resident interactions.

·         Respond promptly to call lights and urgent care needs with a calm and professional presence.

Be a Clinical & Community Leader:

·         Mentor new staff and share knowledge with team members.

·         Collaborate with families and other departments to meet holistic care goals.

·         Represent the nursing team positively in community events and care conferences.

What You Bring to the Table (Besides Your Clinical Skills & Big Heart)

Licensure & Credentials:

·         Active RN or LPN license in the state of employment required.

·         CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Experience & Skills:

·         Previous experience in skilled nursing or senior living preferred, but not required.

·         Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.

·         Ability to stay organized and calm under pressure while leading others.

Physical Requirements:

·         Ability to lift, move, and assist residents as needed.

·         Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout a full shift.
