Job Description— Part-time Receptionist
This position performs as liaison in the initial contact of office personnel with the public in an effective, courteous and confidential manner.
Qualifications:
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be proficient in English.
- Pleasant and helpful personality both in person and via the telephone. Physical Demands:
- Have the ability to speak, read, write, hear/comprehend in order to communicate adequately to complete the job duties and responsibilities.
- Ability to carry out fine motor skills and manual dexterity.
- Ability to sit for 4 to 6 hours a day.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors.
- Answer telephone in a pleasant clear voice, using proper English. Screen or transfer calls. Take and deliver messages when appropriate.
- Receipt funds received into health center account and patient trust account.
- Order and receive payment for guest meal trays.
- Sort and open mail upon supervisor’s request.
- Assemble admission packets.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Assuring Resident Safety Schedule:
- 20 hours per week
- Monday 3p-8p
- Saturday and Sunday 9a-4p
HCSP is open all holidays.
