Role: Outpatient Physical Therapist
Responsibilities: Evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, deliver hands-on aquatic and land-based therapy, monitor progress, adjust treatments, educate patients and families, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and maintain accurate documentation.
Settings: Outpatient clinic focusing on adult orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation, with 50% of caseload involving aquatic therapy.
Schedule: Day shifts, five 8-hour days per week.
Qualifications: Doctorate in Physical Therapy or equivalent from an accredited program, current or eligible for Alaska PT license, strong interest or experience in aquatic therapy preferred, excellent communication and interpersonal skills especially with children and families.
Additional notes: Candidates should research housing, as they will be responsible for creating engaging therapy sessions while achieving therapeutic goals. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and providing patient education on exercises, injury prevention, and wellness strategies.
