Role: The RN CVICU Supervisor is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, overseeing patient care, staffing, and unit management in collaboration with leadership.
Responsibilities: Ensure high-quality patient care, promote a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors, and support staff development through ongoing education.
Lead crisis response, set shift priorities, delegate duties, and maintain clinical and professional competencies.
Implement quality monitoring programs, develop improvement initiatives, and manage unit resources effectively.
Qualifications & Skills: Requires an Associate’s degree in Nursing, valid Multi-State RN License, BLS CPR certification, CPI certification, and unit-specific certifications.
Preferred candidates have 2-3 years of acute care experience with leadership skills.
Key Duties: Collaborate with leadership, supervise staff, evaluate patient care quality, manage unit operations, and foster a service excellence culture.
Demonstrate flexibility in emergency and unpredictable situations, support staff growth, and ensure compliance with safety and clinical standards.
