Role: Senior Mental Health Registered Nurse
Responsibilities: Provide compassionate, evidence-based care for adult and geriatric behavioral health patients.
Perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications, and monitor patient responses and safety.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and allied staff to ensure coordinated care.
Support crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques, educate patients and families, and mentor junior nurses.
Contribute to quality improvement and process enhancement initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience in mental health nursing, strong assessment and clinical skills, excellent communication, and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Knowledge of crisis intervention, medication administration, and patient safety protocols.
Leadership qualities to mentor staff and drive quality initiatives.
