- Evaluating residents to develop personalized treatment plans with clear goals.
- Communicating evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families, and team members.
- Establishing therapy schedules in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Performing therapy sessions according to treatment plans, ensuring proper documentation and billing.
- Overseeing COTA activities, ensuring clinical excellence, documentation accuracy, and reimbursement compliance.
- Performing additional duties necessary for effective patient care.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Active Occupational Therapy license in the practicing state(s).
- Commitment to ongoing continuing education and professional development.
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Leadership skills to oversee COTA activities.
