- Perform complex diagnostic tests across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and blood banking.
- Troubleshoot equipment, calibrate instruments, and maintain optimal performance.
- Monitor quality control, review results for accuracy, and implement corrective actions.
- Train, mentor, and assess laboratory staff, ensuring competency and compliance.
- Develop and update testing procedures and protocols.
- Manage laboratory inventory and review data for regulatory adherence.
- Participate in proficiency testing, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field.
- Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by recognized certifying agencies.
- 3-5 years of clinical laboratory experience, including high complexity testing and leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, quality standards (CLIA, CAP, OSHA), and regulatory guidelines.
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
