- Assisting with transfers, ambulation, and personal hygiene care
- Preparing meals and performing light housekeeping
- Providing companionship and social interaction
- Following care plans and accurately documenting care electronically
- Ensuring client safety, privacy, and confidentiality
- Reporting changes in patient condition and adhering to all protocols, including not administering medications
- Current certification with DFS
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Effective communication and physical ability to perform tasks like lifting and bending
- Dependability, compassion, and ability to adapt to diverse client needs
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and pass background, drug, and TB tests
- Paperless environment with electronic charting
