Healix Infusion Therapy, LLC is currently seeking a qualified remote full-time Data Entry Specialist to join our corporate business office and Business Office Team. Currently, the position is a remote work arrangement and qualified candidates must have access to home internet and a dedicated work space free from distractions. Team members must have excellent communication skills and be able to professionally interact with patients, clients, and colleagues.
DESCRIPTION:
Support the billing and verification departments by performing the following duties.
I. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Accurate data entry of new patient information into billing software by following established guidelines.
- Timely data entry of new patient information into billing software.
- Discrepancies are researched thoroughly and corrected to ensure Healix’s policies and procedures are followed.
- Produces paper and/or electronic charts for all new patients.
- Eligibility and Benefit verification on assigned patients via online resources.
- Assists in correcting patient information as reported from EDI rejection reports.
- Other support duties as assigned.
