Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance at Healing together AFC home. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive atmosphere.
- Administer medications as prescribed .
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for residents.
- Maintain cleanliness in living areas and assist with light housekeeping tasks.
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia through tailored care approaches.
- Utilize Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices safely when transferring or repositioning residents.
- Document care provided accurately.
- Engage residents in social activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience in caregiving or related fields such as:
- Group home / Assisted living facilities or nursing homes.
- Working with people with disabilities or developmental disabilities.
