Veterinary Groomer

Healing Arts Veterinary Center is searching for an experienced Groomer to join our small animal practice.

At Healing Arts, we provide advanced, high-quality veterinary care and take time with each pet we see. You’ll join a multi-doctor hospital with an incredibly talented support staff that undergoes extensive training. In addition to routine medical care, our services include canine and feline rehab, physical therapy, boarding, and advanced diagnostics.

To be considered for this role, candidates much have prior grooming experience, a portfolio of past work, and professional tools/equipment. Our clinic is equipped with a grooming table, tub, and dryer, has an established client base. This is a full time position, Monday - Saturday.

You are responsible for all grooming services, from start to finish:

• Bathing, drying, grooming/hair cutting as requested by client, styling, brush out, flea treatments, clipping/filing nails, gland expression, dematting, ear hair removal, brushing teeth and cleaning up
• Keeping your area clean throughout day and end of shift
• Engaging with customers to ensure their requests are understood
• Evaluating the condition of the pet and addressing any styling/grooming concerns
• Must have prior knowledge and comfortability working with all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
• Must have prior knowledge of breed grooming standards
• Certificate in grooming is a plus (portfolio is required)
