We are seeking an experienced Production Operator II to support daily operations in a regulated manufacturing environment. This position involves operating production equipment, completing batch documentation, maintaining cleanliness standards, and ensuring consistent product quality. Candidates must be comfortable working around powders and active ingredients and be able to follow written instructions with a high level of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Production & Equipment Operation
- Operate manufacturing equipment used in processes such as granulation, compression, coating, and encapsulation.
- Perform equipment setups, changeovers, and cleaning following written procedures.
- Prepare rooms and equipment for production, including line clearances and filter changes.
- Handle material transfers—receiving, weighing, labeling, and staging materials as required.
Documentation & Compliance
- Complete all batch records and logs accurately, clearly, and in real time.
- Follow all SOPs, cGMP requirements, and safety procedures throughout the production process.
- Participate in investigations, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis when issues arise.
- Maintain compliance with internal quality and safety standards at all times.
Safety & Housekeeping
- Use required PPE and follow all hazardous material handling procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace aligned with facility safety expectations.
- Support facility and equipment inspections and participate in safety programs.
General Expectations
- Work both independently and in a team environment under moderate supervision.
- Manage work in fast-paced production cycles and meet schedule deadlines.
- Follow all company policies and support additional tasks assigned by supervision.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing, ideally within the pharmaceutical, Biotech, Nutraceuticals, or a related industry.
- Ability to read, write, and document clearly with excellent attention to detail.
- Understanding of common production equipment (granulation, encapsulation, compression, coating).
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical or process issues and support investigations.
- Strong time-management and prioritization skills.
- English proficiency (written and verbal).
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
