Headfarmer is partnering with a growing, private equity-backed technology company who is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its finance and accounting leadership team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys leading people, improving processes, and partnering with leadership in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment. The Accounting Manager will oversee key accounting functions, support financial reporting, mentor team members, and help drive operational excellence across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead month-end and year-end close activities
- Oversee general ledger accounting and financial reporting processes
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Support external audits and other compliance-related activities
- Develop, mentor, and coach accounting staff
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Partner cross-functionally with leaders throughout the organization
- Assist with accounting projects, system enhancements, and strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Public accounting experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting concepts
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience improving processes and driving efficiencies
- ERP system experience required
- CPA or CPA-track candidates encouraged to apply
