What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Engineer | Torrington, CT position at HDY technologies LLC?
BOM Governance: Own and maintain Module BOMs, Electrical Balance of Plant (EBOP) BOMs, Mechanical BOMs, and service/as-built BOMs in Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP.
Engineering Change & Configuration Control: Assess planned engineering changes, enforce change control protocols, and orchestrate updates across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Accounting.
Scale-Up & Process Improvement: Drive operational BOM efficiencies, mitigate material/process risks, implement Lean best practices, and support facility expansion in Torrington.
Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as a central bridge between Engineering, IT, Manufacturing, and Cost Accounting to maintain accuracy in routings and item settings.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
5 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or configuration management.
Strong hands-on experience with ERP/PLM systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred).
Expertise in Lean manufacturing, technical documentation, routings, cost rollups, and change control processes.
