HDR Communications is the mid-west master distributor for Kenwood Pro-Talk business radios and accessories. Our territory includes Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio and Kentucky. We supply radios to and support a network of two-way radio dealers in the states we cover. Our focus is to grow Kenwood's market share by helping our dealers succeed and grow. We do so by offering high quality best in class communications products as well as first class service and support to our dealers and their customers.
Our dealers rely on us for sales training and support, marketing and promotions, radio demos, technical questions, warranty service and more
Job description:
Needed Part Time 25 - hours / week, opportunity to discuss full time after 3-6 months
High school GED
Ability to commute to our office, this job is in person and not remote
1 month of paid training/shadowing will be provided
Some lifting abilities up to 30lbs required when moving boxes around in the warehouse
$18-20 hour to start, opportunity to grow
Customer communications is roughly 80% email and 20% phone calls
Good communication skills, positive attitude, some technical experience with computers is preferred
Job Responsibilities:
1. Learn and become an expert on our products to provide best support possible to our customers
Inspect radios/equipment for damage for warranty consideration, programming radios with our computer software
Help with supporting our dealers (sending radio demos, assisting with product questions/technical questions etc.…)
Working with our online sales software to identify new customer opportunities
Attending local trade shows/helping assemble our trade show booths
Handling promotions, working with our designer to create marketing flyers
Assisting in the warehouse with pulling orders/moving product when needed
