In the role of Senior Project Manager Engineering, we'll count on you to:
- Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of multidiscipline projects with a high degree of technical complexity. Projects typically involve leading a cross-disciple/cross functional team to execute.
- Execute and deliver on multiple projects concurrently.
- Establish client relations and directly support marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings.
- Conduct schematic, design development, and contract document work sessions at project sites in conjunction with other project and program managers, appropriate technical professionals, and other functional disciplines.
- Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project development lifecycle to meet project delivery schedule.
- Work with HDR leadership which includes: Business/Accounting Managers, Project Controllers, and Department Managers for routine project reviews.
- Implement QA/QC procedures.
- Execute training for personnel as established by strategic plans.
- Supervise large project staffs and act as mentor for less-experienced Project Managers.
- Obtain and maintain professional engineering registration.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Master's degree
- Federal experience desired
- PMP certification

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 10 years related experience
- A minimum 5 years project management experience
- Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
- MS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience would be plus)
- Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
