Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Mechanical Drafter to join our team on-site in Miami, FL. The Mechanical Drafter will be responsible for creating detailed mechanical drawings and technical documentation, collaborating closely with engineers and designers to support project development. Daily tasks include utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to produce and revise engineering drawings, ensuring designs adhere to technical specifications and industry standards, and assisting in design engineering activities. The role will involve interpretation of project requirements and communication with cross-functional teams to create accurate and comprehensive mechanical documentation.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Mechanical Drawings, Technical Drawing, and understanding Engineering Drawings
- Strong expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Revit
- Experience in Design Engineering to support project development
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet project deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with engineering and design teams
- Associate's degree in Drafting, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Familiarity with industry standards and technical documentation practices
- Experience in the EAC sectors is a plus
