Position Overview
HD Roofing & Construction is seeking a Commercial Roofing & Sheet Metal Foreman to lead field operations on commercial reroof and new construction projects.
This role is responsible for running crews, executing high-quality installations, and maintaining jobsite productivity, safety, and organization. The Foreman will serve as the primary field leader, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, correctly, and in alignment with company standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities1. Crew Leadership & Jobsite Management
- Lead and manage roofing and sheet metal crews on commercial projects
- Assign daily tasks and ensure productivity and quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient jobsite
- Coordinate daily with Project Managers on schedules, materials, and progress
- Train, mentor, and develop crew members
- Hold crew accountable to company standards, timelines, and workmanship
2. Installation & Technical Execution
- Oversee and actively participate in installation of:
- Commercial roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, Mod Bit, BUR, Metal)
- Sheet metal systems and wall panels
- Perform and supervise:
- New construction and reroof projects
- Leak detection and repair work
- Roof maintenance and service work
- Ensure all work meets:
- Manufacturer specifications
- Project drawings and details
- Company quality standards
- Review plans and field conditions to proactively solve installation challenges
3. Jobsite Coordination & Communication
- Act as the primary field liaison between crews, Project Managers, and office staff
- Provide updates on job progress, issues, and delays
- Assist with:
- Site measurements
- Photos and documentation
- Daily reporting
- Communicate material needs, labor requirements, and schedule changes
4. Equipment, Materials & Inventory Management
- Ensure proper use, maintenance, and organization of tools and equipment
- Track materials on-site and minimize waste
- Conduct inventory checks and communicate shortages
- Coordinate deliveries and staging of materials for efficiency
5. Safety & Compliance
- Enforce all company safety policies and OSHA requirements
- Ensure crews are properly equipped with PPE and fall protection
- Identify and correct jobsite hazards
- Lead by example in maintaining a strong safety culture
6. Quality Control & Productivity
- Maintain high standards of workmanship across all projects
- Monitor production to ensure jobs stay on schedule and within scope
- Identify and correct issues before they impact project timelines or quality
- Support warranty and repair work as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience as a Commercial Roofing Foreman or Sheet Metal Foreman
- Strong experience with commercial roofing systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage crews
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in the field
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards
- Experience with repairs, maintenance, and leak diagnostics
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Authorized to work in the United States
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
