Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in both Dayton & Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area for an Equipment Operator. The Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment, performing excavation, grading, and other site development tasks. Responsibilities also include following safety protocols, collaborating with the team to ensure project efficiency, and supporting the completion of infrastructure and land development projects.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Equipment Operation and Heavy Equipment handling
- Experience with Excavation and site preparation techniques
- Ability to perform Equipment Maintenance to ensure operational efficiency
- Forklift Operation skills and other relevant equipment certifications
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations in the construction field
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various outdoor conditions
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; additional technical training is a plus
- Previous experience in civil site development or related fields is advantageous
