Primary Duties:
The Inside Sales Representative plays a vital role in supporting the growth of our forklift business by managing the full order-to-delivery cycle with a focus on logistics-related invoicing and customs processes. This position ensures accurate processing of import/export documentation, timely cost handling, and close coordination with internal teams and external partners to enable smooth operations and meet monthly sales goals.
Responsibilities:
Order Management: Manage and process orders for inventory and factory-built machines, ensuring alignment with dealer demand and regional sales targets.
Logistics & Invoicing: Handle all logistics-related invoicing tasks, including reviewing and processing freight, customs, and third-party logistics invoices. Ensure proper cost allocation and timely payment in coordination with the finance and logistics teams.
Customs & Compliance: Understand and support customs clearance procedures. Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, manage relevant documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, tariff, etc.), and coordinate with brokers or freight forwarders as needed.
Cost Tracking & Reporting: Monitor logistics-related expenses and support accurate monthly reporting. Ensure all logistics and customs-related costs are captured and reflected correctly in the system.
Supply Chain Execution: Handle the full supply chain process in SAP, including Quotation, Sales Order, Factory Order, Purchase Order (PO), and Billing. Coordinate and track domestic and international shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery in alignment with monthly sales and shipping targets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred)
- Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Work environment and other requirements:
The work environment is a non-smoking office environment combined with some travel (10%) to assigned dealers. Microsoft Office and internal HCEA systems utilization. No heavy lifting required. Accommodations can be made for handicapped employee.
